We are a Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult will be running and maintaining this website on behalf of the UK Offshore Wind Directory (the “UOWD”). The UOWD enables organisations to explore the potential of the UK offshore wind industry and identify any existing gaps. This comprehensive resource supports informed decision-making and strategic planning, fostering a more robust and efficient supply chain.

This access agreement (Agreement) is a legal agreement between you (Account Holder/you/your) and Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (“we”) a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 04659351 whose registered office is at Offshore House, Albert Street, Blyth, Northumberland, NE24 1LZ (Grantor). We run this website on behalf of the [Supply Chain Database], we provide access for the Account Holder to the Supply Chain Database (the “Website”).
We make this Website available to you on the subject to the terms and conditions set out below. We do not sell this website or any software contained herein to you. We or our licensors, remain the owners of the website and software at all times.
1. ACCOUNT
1.1. Access will be provided to the Account Holder upon the creation of an account. The Account Holder is responsible for all users under using the account.
1.2. The Account Holder is responsible for all information that it or anyone using its account uploads to the Website. The Account Holder is responsible for keeping the information up to date. The Grantor accepts no liability whatsoever for any information displayed on the Website.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You grant a licence for all business information uploaded including any personal data for the purposes of sharing with other account holders and the members of the Supply Chain Database.
4. RESTRICTIONS AND ACCOUNT HOLDER OBLIGATIONS
4.1. Except as expressly set out in this Agreement you shall not:
- 4.1.1. attempt to de-compile, reverse compile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise reduce to human-perceivable form all or any part of the Website;
- 4.1.2. access all or any part of the Website to build a product or service which competes with the Website;
- 4.1.3. license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, display, disclose, or otherwise commercially exploit, or otherwise make the Website available to any third party except the Account Holder; or
- 4.1.4. attempt to obtain, or assist third parties in obtaining, access to the Website, other than as provided under this Agreement.
4.2. You shall not use the Website to:
- 4.2.1. distribute or transmit to the Grantor any viruses or vulnerability and shall implement procedures in line with good industry practice to prevent such distribution or transmission;
4.3. The Account Holder warrants that none of the information uploaded to the website:
- 4.3.1. contains defamatory or extreme material;
- 4.3.2. is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing or racially or ethnically offensive;
- 4.3.3. facilitates illegal activity;
- 4.3.4. depicts sexually explicit images;
- 4.3.5. promotes unlawful violence;

5. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any claims or proceedings.
